Sign Design Tips!

Happy February, everyone! Isn't the year just flying past?

I thought that because obviously, it's a new year, you might perhaps want a new design for your company?

Your sign is the first thing that people are going to notice about your company...so surely you'd like to give them a good impression?

Here's a few tips to get people interested:
1. Make the design full colour - this will make the sign eye-catching and attractive to your potential customers.
2. Add an image - this gives a 300% greater recall than signs without an image.
3. Don't get too wordy - keep it simple and to the point! No one wants to spend forever reading through a sign.
4. Visibility - is it going to stand out from the surroundings?

So, how about it? Why not fiddle around with a design & send something over to us?

We look forward to hearing from you!

Merchandise

First of all, a Happy New Year to all readers and I wish you all the best. I hope you all had a great Christmas & that Santa brought you something nice.

It's a new decade & I'm sure you've all got lots of resolutions. Perhaps one is to boost your business?

What better way to welcome new clients than with some merchandise? The possibilities are endless....you could have mouse mats, coasters, mugs, stationery, badges, confectionery, USB sticks, calculators, key rings, lanyards...& so much more.

- If you're a golf club, why not get your logo printed to balls & tees?
- If you're an IT company...why not have your logo printed on USB keys or USB hubs?
- What about book shops...you can have your own book marks!
- A stationer's wouldn't be 'write' (excuse the pun) if it didn't have it's own personalised pen!
- All you car garages...why not supply your customers with tax disc holders...with your details on! Any time someone gets in the car, they'll see your name & number!

We're a sign and graphics company...we have our logo on our tape measures. Pretty good, eh?

A simple way to get your message out there!

Well, here we are again, the start of another week. Christmas getting closer and closer (only 11 days now woo hoo!) I'm sure you've all got a New Years party to go to or to host!

What about if your business is hosting a New Years or Christmas party? Do you need more people to book tickets or attend? What better way to advertise than a banner!

Banners are great short term or long term solutions. A banner can be the most cost effective way to get your message across. They are durable and weather resistant. We can cut them to almost any size and produce any quantity!

Banners are guaranteed to get you noticed.

Banner care:
-Banners will clean easily with soap and water. DO NOT use any ammonia based products to clean.
-When rolling your banners, always ensure that the graphics are to the outside so as to prevent air bubbles & letters separating.
-NEVER fold your banner! This may cause the letters to come away from the banner material!
-Looking after your banner will make it last longer :)

All banners that we create are hemmed and eyeletted upon request.

Expansion upon banner ideas:
-Add a photo
-Add a background colour
-Add a border
-Add your company logo
-Make it bigger!

What are they generally used for?
In the past we have created banners that have been used to promote sales or special offers. We have also created banners for tradeshows, food fairs & football teams. For example, at a food fair, you want to get people to come to your stall, right? Well, make yourself more noticeable! Purchasing a banner is a great way to do so.

Take care of your magnets...

One last tip...

If you have magnetics and they need a clean...just get a nice damp, soapy sponge & wipe them down. Simple as that!

If the magnet is applied to a vehicle, remember to wash and wax the area that it is placed on a regular basis.

To store your magnets...
-Keep them flat on a smooth metal surface.
-DO NOT leave them inside your car during warm weather. The heat may affect the magnet's aerodynamic properties!

Using magnets for vehicles are an excellent alternative to vehicle graphics. For example, you only have one vehicle that you use for business and leisure...you don't want to get it sign written...you want something that you can remove and put on as & when you wish! We can print whatever you like on them too.

Have a little think about that one...

Good afternoon every body :)

This post is all about Foam PVC and how it can help to project a great image for you & your company.

Foam PVC is a very diverse substrate. It provides us with long & short term solutions for both in & outdoor use. We would recommend that for outdoor use, you go for 5mm & above and for indoor use, you can have whatever you like! The material is easy to clean-literally just a wipe down is fine. It is light weight yet extremely sturdy.

Foam pvc can be used for:
-Car parking signs
-Directional signage
-Menu boards
-Point of purchase displays
-And much much more!

You can even do some quite wacky things with foam pvc...
-Mounting photographs to it
-Life size cut outs of various different objects
-The possibilities are endless!

This image is an example of foam pvc in an aluminium frame. It is a sturdy and eye catching solution. This will increase the effectiveness of you sign.
Foam PVC comes in various different colours and sizes, so anything is possible!
There are lots of different ways that foam pvc can be installed. You can have it hanging, you can put it in a frame (as in the image), you can apply it with double sided tape to a variety of surfaces, you can drill holes in it to affix it to a wall....etc...
